The Xame is a Galician band formed in 2021, initially as a tribute to Johnny Cash. Shortly after, we began composing and gave shape to two albums: “We Are the Same” in 2022 and “Burning Out in the Moon” in 2024.
Over time we have expanded our repertoire with covers of great bands such as Deep Purple, ZZ Top, AC/DC, Uriah Heep, etc., and by “rocking up” songs by Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond, Creedence, or Johnny Cash.
In our concerts, which last about an hour and a half, we alternate between covers and original songs, always aiming to maintain great energy while preserving the melodic aspect so important in classic rock. Our sound is based on the 70s “power trios,” enriched by the iconic tone of the Hammond organ.
